Saw this on another forum. Thought I'd pass it along.....

Wacom sponsors Sclipo online video challenge
Skills-based clips to be judged by the Web community
Cintiq 21UX is first prize

Wacom, the leading manufacturer of pen tablets and interactive pen displays today announces that it is sponsoring an online video challenge at www.sclipo.com, a leading online skills network. Open to worldwide entries, the competition starts on the 25 June and will last until 25 August 2007. During this time, visitors to the social networking site will be able to submit video tutorials that demonstrate how to use a Wacom pen tablet to achieve impressive and creative results. Judged by the Web community, the video clip that receives the most viewers, together with the best user rating, will win a Cintiq 21UX interactive pen display. There will also be 5 runners-up, each winning a recently launched Bamboo pen tablet.

The competition offers a platform for both professionals and enthusiasts to showcase their skills and provide innovative and original tips and tricks to a large audience, particularly when using a Wacom pen tablet in different applications and with other tools.

Sclipo is a leading online social network that enables people to view, share and rate skills-related video clips online. Unlike other generic video-sharing websites, Sclipo aims to provide a platform for ‘masters’ or users with certain skills to share tips across the community. Sclipo was recently awarded the prize for best European web 2.0 start-up and comes in three languages: English, German and Spanish.

Information and guidelines can be found on the Sclipo website at www.sclipo.com/challenge/wacom as well as the Wacom website at www.wacom.eu.
