Animating a Colorchange
1. Open the image you want to animate. I made a colorful image so it should be good tutorial. Make sure your loaded image only uses one layer.
2. Rightclick on that layer and choose Duplicate Layer, do that 7 times. You should now have 8 layers.
3. On the left side in the layer-window, you have some eyes, thoose eyes indicates if the layer is visible or not. Click on the images of the upper 6 layers so thoose layers will become invisible.
4. Click on the first layer (the only layer visible). Then press CTRL+U to get the HUE-Window up. Set HUE to -180, press OK.
5. You should now do the same thing with the other layers, click on the second layer and set HUE to -135, then the third layer and set HUE to -90, the next to -45, the next to 0, the next to 45, the next to 90 and the last one to 135.
6. Now it is time to switch to ImageReady to make the animation. Click on the 'Edit In ImageReady'-button. (look at the image below)
7. We should now use the Animation window in ImageReady, if you don't have it visible, click on Windows > Animation.
8. Click on the 'Duplicates Current Frame'-button in the animation window. (look at the image below)
9. You have now 2 images on your animation, but the two images are the same. To change the second image, just click on the eye on the layer in the top of the layer-window to make that layer invisible.
10. Click the 'Duplicates Current Frame'-button again, hide the second upper layer. Do this until only one layer is visible.
11. You should now have 8 animation images and the animation is done. Now just test it by clicking on the 'Plays/stops animation'-button in the animation-window.
