Rendering an animated .gif in CS3

Postby SnappleMan on Sun Aug 05, 2007 7:50 am

I'm quite used to creating animated signatures as .gif files in CS2 using imageready, that CS3's new interface left me completely lost.

I have all my frames (nearly 60) setup in their new animation interface, but I have no clue how to save them as an animated .gif.

I have tried the known way, which is to Export> Render Video, and am taken to a window where I can set specific paramters. However, there's no .gif option, and when I export the video, as-is, I get images of my frames instead of an animated .gif.

I need some help. I've looked around the net for nearly an hour. I don't have my CS2 anymore, so I can't try to open the file there and export to imageready. Is there any simple solution for me?

Any help is appreciated!

Edit: If I've ever felt more completely awestruck at my own impatience, it must be something I've repressed. Next site I stumbled upon handed me my answer on a silver platter.

File> Save for Web.

Anyhoo...nice forums y'all have here. :).

I hope you meant to have posted that before I edited mine, heh. Anyway, all the more posts to add to the count, eh?

Thanks, as well.
