PNY Geforce 8500 GT special edition.

Hi, I got this new card the PNY Geforce 8500 GT special edition. And i cant play the New Unreal III so my question is, Does my new card suck or do i need more ram.

makes me wonder why they even bothered making the 8400 and 8500 series cards... was it just for DX 10 support?

It could be something else. What OS do you use? Nvidia has unresolved issue with the 8000 series on UT when using XP. If you use Vista, then that wouldn't be it. UT3 also requires a dual-core processors with at least 1 meg cache per core. At least 1 gig of memory is needed, but I suggest at least 2. BTW, do you play UT2k4? There's a very active community at http://www.ctclan.us/forum2/index.php. You can find me as Mr_Bean. Come hang out with us sometime :)
