Photoshop Tutorial: Blending Modes

Start off with your image.

Follow the boarder tutorial. once you have this insert a new layer below the picture and fill it in with a color of your choice. Also, make your image grey scale (ctrl+shift+u).

Add a new layer to the top of the picture. Fill this layer in with color you would like to use. Hit Ctrl+G. This is a feature that many photoshop users do not know about. Ctrl+G makes the selected layer only visible where there is active pixels from the layer below it. layers should look like this.

Here is the neat part! Change the Blending mode from normal to 'vivid light' there are other blends that make neat effects, but this one was requested. Play around with all the blending modes.

Add some text and personalize it, and you have an awesome t-shirt for any band!
