Photoshop Tutorial: Spider Web

Photoshop Tutorial: Spider Web

1. Make a new picture (CTRL+N) i used the format 477x250 pixels.

2. Press 'D' to reset the colors

3. Click on 'Gradient Tool' and set 'Foreground to Background', and set Mode to Difference. (look at the image below)

4. Now just make alot of gradients in the image until the whole image is filled with gradients.

5. Click on Filter > Stylize > Find Edges. (look at the image below)

6. Press CTRL+I to invert the colors. Press CTRL+U, click on 'Colorize', change Hue and Saturation and get the color you want.

7. Duplicate the layer, set 'Blend Mode' to 'Overlay' on the new layer. (look at the image below)

Not bad for a first attempt! What i like is the thourght, most peoples first photoshop piece is random, however you thourght about how you could represent the quote. :)

Keep learning the tools and techniques and that thourght will help you create some great art in the future. Stick around here, post your work in the gallery and get feedback on everything, thats the best way to improve.

Nice to see another manc on the forum!
