reflection of trailer? Is it possible??

Postby SHADGIRL on Mon May 19, 2008 11:41 pm

I have been desperately trying to get a realistic looking reflection of our boat trailer, although without success. I've viewed tutorials for reflection of cars and such but our trailers are really hard to do this with. Can anyone let me know how I go about it best? I try to skew and transform and it just wont match up like a real reflection :( here is one that I'm trying to do

Try the Warp tool if you haven't already:
Edit > Transform > Warp

If you provide the original image, I'm sure quite a few people are willing to give a shot at this.

Thank you for any help, I would really appreciate it. I have a lot of these to do, so if I can figure out how to do it, it would be so helpful

this isnt the greatest example but you get the point it can be done. you have to cut the reflection and then skew and play to get it right, and then put the pieces back together it takes a long time just to get one piece right.

Do you mean shadow or reflection. Because you demonstrated a shadow but said reflection. They're very different. If you meant reflection, do you want a mirrored reflection or just a "mirage" type reflection?
