Evil Trig

Postby Fang Lunin on Fri May 13, 2005 9:48 am

Hey, i was needing some trig functions for a game im working on (plus to make a handy auto trig thing so i dont have to calculate a few things ^_^), and i know about the ones allready in vb (sin(),cos(),tan()) but i was wondering if anyone had figured out how to do Csc, Sec, and Cot (aka Sin^-1()...exc) Help would be appreciated as i cant seem to get it to recognise them and i really dont want to have to convert them if i dont have to (besides the fact you have to devide by things like .0081 and for some reason it says devide by 0)

thats easy

csc=1/sin()
sec=1/cos()
cot=1/tan()

this is the general formulae

you can calculate them this way
