New Desktop Image

Postby Isick on Tue Jul 15, 2008 12:50 am

It's been a while since I posted - or even created any Photoshop art - so I figured I'd post this cool desktop background I made today. My brother showed me his new background which was basically the clouds and sky which sparked my imagination to create this retro 50's styled background.

I probably had the 50s style in my head since I just watched the Fallout 3 trailers (should check it out), but I think it came out nicely. This is my first animated wallpaper so tell me what you think!

My name is Isaac in case you couldn't figure that out.

Animated - smaller version because ImageShack has maximum size requirement:

Where do you get to have animated wallpaper? On a mac? vista?

Very cool btw. simple but cool.

Also are there more fallout 3 trailers than the stupid camera moving around the old bus? That was super disappointing after a lot of waiting.

I have Windows XP so I know it works on that. If you pick an animated gif as your background then your background becomes the animation - I didn't know it worked like that either, but it does!

Yes there are more Fallout 3 trailers!
This is the one with 50s style:

Huh, i never though of trying to put a gif as a background, that's good to know.

thx for the trailer link, looks awesome. Graphics aren't as amazing as many new games, but gameplay looks great, and too many games are sacrificing gameplay and content for pretty looks, so i'm excited!

Really? I knew that all along, but was too lazy to make a animation THAT huge. Impressive, by the way.
