convert to a dotty print???

Hi Guys

Was wondering if anyone knows how to convert an image to dots?? :?

Basically i need a tee shirt printing in a single color and the guy doing it has said i could have shading in the single colour print if i can convert it to dots?? :?:

Can Anyone help?? (plugin maybe or something)

Don't know how to do it, but I am sure the printer is referring to halftone. Within halftone there are a few specifications to be taken into account like angles etc. If you can't get help here (which would surprise me), I suggest you search for tutorial or post request on T-shirtforums.com. Good luck with your project.

Oh you mean like dot shading. Lemme see if I can make a tutorial for you...

Ok that was easy:
1) Open the image
2) Go to Filter > sketch > halftone pattern
3) Chose desired dotsize (the smaller the dots the more precise the shading)
4) Set Contrast = Full (50)
5) Done!
