Is This Bespoke Or Just A Photoshop Tool ?

Please take a look at this. Is this bespoke work by my designer, or is it some basic Photoshop tool?

How much effort would it take to produce this?

He says he always produces custom work.

What do you guys think to the quality of this?

that is like 30 seconds work with a few splatter brushes even if he made the brushes for them shapes its still only 10 mins work

My designer has also produced me an image of a football (soccer ball) - that I think looks poor.

He says it cheapens the logo, so dont use it - that is why it looks poor.

I say it cheapens the logo because it is poorly drawn.

It is just a circle, with hexagons drawn - all outlines, no solid colours.

Have you guys got a sample (watermark it if you want) - that I can show him that would look good with text to prove you can get a good football image to work and it doesn't look cheap.

I can search for many on the internet that are either cheap clipart or a photograph - but neither would be suitable. I need a nice hand drawn one.

My budget is low, his price was cheap. I think I have learnt why his price is cheap - I suppose there are a lot of wannabies out there taking the work away from the decent people, and reducing the price good quality designers can charge.
