Program to find errors?

Program to find errors?

Postby MM xSkillz on Tue Aug 19, 2008 11:15 pm

Hi,
I know that languages like JAVA have programs that will change the colors of things based on what they are (for example, if there was one of these for HTML, it might turn all tags and escape tags green). Also, it can tell if you've fogotten to end something. Is there one of these for HTML? As much as I'd love going through and checking if all my tags are ended, I'd prefer a program to do it for me! Hope this exists, thanks in advance!

Well you can W3C your HTML. That should tell you which tags weren't closed.

Dreamweaver colours your code, as does Aptana

Hmm, where would I go to W3C my HTML? I thought W3C was the World Wide Web Consortium where you can go to like find out about new tags and stuff. Do they have programs there to do tasks like this? If so, where on their site would I find that? Thanks!
