My Challenge--Modifying _Known_ Font

Postby agentnxp on Tue Dec 02, 2008 6:24 pm

Now that I have your attention and potential help... :)

Here's the tricky part:

The _known_ font I alluded to is... simply any font that can 'read' the Cyrillic alphabet. This basic font should be an example. (Test: Дейвис.)

My goal and/or challenge is to modify this alphabet using Photoshop (or another way...?) into a more university-looking style.

My explanation is poorly written, so let's make this more visual.

How would I get a basic letter like Д, е, й, в, и, с into a font that looks like:
Image

I've looked around plenty. Google, forums, myfonts, etc... to no avail. My end motive is a sweatshirt (like the above) with university-font-looking-cyrillic-letters --obviously the phonetic russian spelling-- to go with it. Btw, this is an overdue gift to a friend.

Thanks a bunch!

Why not just type it out using all capitals in the font of you choice, make it read, and stroke it in white using a selection and select>modify>expand
