£25 Reward for logo design

I'm new here so i'd just like to say hey to everyone .

Ok guys im setting up a business here in the uk called Dan Rollies. I need a logo for my ebay shop but i also want to be able to use it for invoices, website (when i get there) etc.

Here's my attempt:

As you can see im pretty useless

The business sells rolling papers and delivers them to peoples doors, thus removing the hassle of running out of papers (any smoker here will know the pain lol). On top of this we sell 'different' papers which can't be found in your average shop.

I would like the text 'DansRollies.co.uk' to be used along with our slogan of 'Rolling's not a chore, it's an Art'. I would like the business name to be a serif font and the slogan a sans serif font if you can make this work.

Possible things i've thought about are putting this onto a rolling paper packet, perhaps using an image of a 'joint' or 'spliff', maybe a ganja leaf or something. I don't wanna give too many specifications as i would like a creative and original idea.

I have no preferences on colour scheme but if you become stuck the colours of the rasta flag would be appropriate.

Im sure there are tons of quality designers on here and anybody is welcome to have a go, although i must stress that only the designers suggestion used will be paid. I would like to ask dflynn to have a go if he's reading as i saw attempts made for dm609 and i LOVED your style.

Payment will be made via paypal upon completion and a statment in this thread stating DansRollies soul rights to use of the image.

Alright, here is the design I've come up with.


I incorporated as many elements of your original design with the ones you requested.
I went for a bright, fun, and clean design on this one. I tried a reflection but it didn't suit the design at all.
Hope you like it.

Very impressed for a first draft!

Negative Points:
Please could you make it 'dans' rather than 'dan'.
Also I would to like to see that design on a rolling paper packet if that's possible?

Positive Points:
Colour scheme is spot on.
Cannabis leaf is great, but the way its incorporated into the design is even better!!
Font type is on the right lines.

Do you have much time before you go to Toronto? Because I can't wait to see another draft!

Hey there, I won't be able to i am leaving right now, I just go the reply.
My bad I missed the S in Dans. That is a simple fix. I can see what I can do about the packet when I get back in a few days if that's not huge problem.

Well you seem like a cool guy to work with and I'm happy with what you've offered so far. I'm sure a few days won't kill me . I have a few more projects I will need someone to do for me and they will be given to whoever designs the successful logo. So think up a few more designs while you're away

Hey buckha nice to see you involved. Saw some of your other work in earlier posts and was hoping you'd have a go. heres my verdict:
Negative Points:
Not keen on the reflection idea.
I don't like the font used, i would prefer something a little bolder.
Probably just because it's sketchy but the text doesn't fit properly.

Positive Points:
The ganja leaf is cool and i like the way it overlaps outside of the shape.
Rasta colours being merged is an awesome idea.
The skin sticking out the packet is quality.

Hope you find the time to do another version.
