Hey guys, Sorry i haven't been in for a while I've just been so busy...

Good to see ya back dflynn. Great Design by the way!

Living to Die, your design is stunning, i really like it. Looks so classy.

Buckha yours is top notch too, great use of colour, altough i'm still not sure on the font.

I'm going to leave the thread running a couple more days guys, see if there are any late entries. Will let you know who I want to use on Sunday.

Just want to say a quick thank you for everyone that has taken part so far. Every single design posted is a million times better than i could've produced, well done.

Cheers,
Dan

Dflynn: Try working on those black lines, how much paper have you seen in real life that comes with black lines?

Bucha: I'm not really feeling the different color schemes. Try to perfect the original design, then you can see if it needs variations.

Hazard: The same with the black lines, work it out.

Also, you could all look into shadows. I'm not talking about overdoing it by adding a shadow to every separate layer just because. Just work on the realism a bit. And translucent paper also has a shadow...

Give me a bit time, I'll show you what I mean.

//Edit:

Adding the simplest effects can add lots of realism.

Woah this is getting more difficult everytime I take a look! I stumbled by this forum trying to find out how to do something for the logo i was designing myself. I'm so glad i did, you guys are amazing.

Just want to clarify Etheryte, is yours an example or an entry?

Long time since I actually took part in any contest. Sure, you can take it as an entry.
