grunge brushes?

Postby digital Mikeon on Mon Jan 26, 2009 3:40 pm

I am new to photoshop and have been working away at antiquing some photos. I have been using some grunge brushes to add that cracked, scratchy look to my images and are much to my satisfaction. My question is this; can I rotate the grunge brush to apply the effect to my layer? So far I have been rotating the image that I am working on to do this.
Thanks;

There is a way to rotate the brush in the brushes palette. Just do a google search from rotating brush in photoshop or something with photoshop brushes palette

Thanks a bunch. One search and I found out exactly what I needed to know. I have been opening my brushes up from the toolbar at the top. When I opened up the tools pallet under brushes there are many more commands there than above. The little circle with the crosshairs through it is exactly what I needed to find to rotate my grunge brush to different angles. Thanks again for steering me in the right direction.
