batch thumbnails help

Postby bradleyh10 on Thu Mar 26, 2009 12:44 pm

Hi,

I've taught myself how to make actions and do batch image editing, however there is something I'd like to know.

I'm trying to make a lot of images into thumbnails, however these images are of all different sizes... some wide some tall...

so in my action, i have set the width to be 80 which generally has worked however some pictures are still quite tall.

what I'd like is some sort of statement, that says that 80 is a maximum width and height so no picture should will have a dimension higher than 80.

is this possible> and how can i achieve this?

thanks for you help,
Bradley

use the crop tool and make the dimensions 80 x 80 pixels. That might work.
