I'll give you my first two reactions to the site. 1 good and 1 bad :)

I really think your raven logo shows up too many times on the home page. I believe there are a couple places you should use it. Once on the top header and then either points of action like your "about me" or the tutorials part. The logo isn't bad, I just think it just pulls your attention away from everything because it shows up everywhere.

Secondly, I love your color choices. Dark backgrounds are easier to read on and your yellow text isn't bright yellow. It's a very soft yellow and easy to read and look at.

Looks like it coming together! Great work!

P.S. I just noticed the top of your forum page has a typo and it should say Enjoy "Your" Stay

Hi joe i know what ya mean about the logo the about me section is going to have a picture of my ugly mug the only reason that image is there is because its still under construction and i not got a pic of me to go there yet hehe

im glad ya like it the color scheme is the 3rd choice i made the site 3 times untill i was totally happy with it then i found my forum theme changed that up a little and the natural choice for my home page was the forum color scheme i love the color scheme it pops out at ya with out the yellow being to over powering.

thanks for pointing out the typo bro i been looking at that much code of late my minds not with it all the time lol i really should start designing with dreamweaver instead of notepad lol

Yeah, I've worked on a few websites in my day. It always helps to get some help to look over things. My friends have found many of my mistakes in the past. When you look at the same thing over and over, its hard to notice little things like that. Keep up the good work!

I would suggest two things,
1) add some depth the background. Because the background where all of your text is is the same colour as the page background, it ends up looking flattened out and its hard to know whether to look toward the middle or to the outside first.
By either lightening up the area behind the text or darkening the page colour. Possibly even adding lines to the background, just to separate the two more.

2)There are a lot of ravens on the page at once. I'd suggest maybe one per header.

Other than that, it's looking really good. Keep up the good work.

regarding the ravens i know what you meen and i keep meaning to adress it just keep forgetting, it has been mentioned in this thread befor. trying to get it active atm the forum has 8 members but im the only one posting been trying to get it advertized i think i can make it a really good site with lots of information and help with some good posters ya know.

i have desided to add a wrighters section to for budding wrighters to post there thoughts and help eachother out.
