changing IP address in local host server

Hi
i want to change my local IP address with another Ip address
if i use windows and IIS i can easly do that (windows/system32/driver/etc/host) and then i change 127.0.0.1 Local Host to xx.x.x.xx Localhost but i think apache have diffrenet way and i can't do it.

i have php script that it have protection and it wont let you to install it in local server becuase the name of server(local IP address) is not IP address that used in licence.

Plz help i need it :(

1) Change your ethernet adaptor's IP to the static IP you need to use for the software.
2) In your apache configuration set ServerName to the IP address
3) Navigate to the address!

Already i found it and change it but still it wont work
i chage it to xx.xxx.xx.x but when i enter my x ip to IE and push the GO button IE said i have to connect to net.

i use WAMP program
i changed that name server from httpd

need just Help :(

WAMP is actually just Apache, MySQL and PHP stuffed into one package, for easy installing. I am using a program called WampServer, which is mostly the same software, but packaged by an other distributer.

Unfortunately I can't help you with this program. Using your (network/public) IP adress you should without any problem be able to view the site.
