My font size is f*****, help!

Postby Retroys on Mon May 25, 2009 1:19 am

Hey guys,

I have a problem with my Photoshop CS4 right now. It is really doing my headin'! Grrr. :)

The font size remains extremely big even though I chose the smallest font size, I just cant get it smaller than WAY too big.

Do any of you guys know how to change this, as it is not normal, didnt have this problem until recently.

What settings do I have to go in and mess with?

Hope someone out there can help me.

Thanks for reading all!

Hi Retroys,

Create a new document (File > New) and check to see what the "Resolution" is set to. Make sure it's set to 72 pixels/inch (or the pixels/cm equivalent).

The size at which type will print is always determined by the 'point size' of the type. However, type size as seen on screen is effected by the resolution setting. Increasing the resolution increases the type size on screen (assuming the point size remains constant).

Hope this helps.
