Photoshop Lighting question (Contains SLIGHT Nudity)

Postby rikkusguardian on Mon May 25, 2009 11:18 pm

This is my first day here on devppl.com , so please stop me if I am doing something wrong: All right, here is the question...look under the picture

Image

This was done NOT by me, but by a woman named Jessica Elwood on Devaintart . I tried to contact her, but she is very sick at the moment and cannot reply, as I was told.

The 3 "HOW" questions are:

1) The lighting effects outside. How did she make beautiful bright glowing effects?

2) The feathers. How did she make them glow?

3) The skin. How was the fading and shadow effects made?

I already looked at Google (So I wont be told the "Google It" answer) , and hunted down tutorials on the site, but came up with nothing.

My e-mail is finalfantasycrossover@hotmail.com, if you want to answer me there.

1) Try something called "Outer Glow" in the layer effects tab - if used correctly and with the right blend of colors it will surely give you a similar effect

2) Again, a simple "Outer Glow" will suffice on this one

3) Sometimes there is no shortcut around some God given artistic ability. I'm afraid there is no "easy" button on this one...

Hope that helps.

Thank you very much (Hope I replied right.)

1)I will try that.
2)Same with that.
3) No worries...sure, there are people that are born with talent (Lucky bast- I mean...people...tch.) But there is always a way to cheat around art for the talent-less types like me ( http://rikkusguardian.deviantart.com ) that was born only to sit on the sidelines. That's what makes photoshop so beautiful...
