Need help with warping

Postby Future on Fri Jul 17, 2009 10:50 am

I'm making an animation in photoshop that requires the progressive transformation of a object. However, by using warp, the object gradually loses texture and its outline becomes blurry. Is there any way to prevent/reverse this?
Or better yet, is there a better way to progressively change the shape of an object using photoshop?

Hi

I will try and help.

What you could do is, create it very big, maybe 4 times the size that you are creating it at the moment. Then when you save for web and devices, you can alter the image size, back to your original size.

Hopefully it should be clearer.

Not sure that this is the answer you are after, but give it a go.

If your using the newer versions of photoshop can't you use "smart objects" to maintain your quality?
