photoshop problem

Hi all. I have just started using photoshop and have designed a website which i have sliced out to put in another programme. My page header logo has a black background with white writing and a green wave form. At some point i cHANGED A SETTING AND THE WAVE FORM IS NOW WHITE. When i try and import the original picture the wave form is green when i preview it but when i bring it into my website project it goes white again. Any help much appreciated. TAA
