vertical distance between images

vertical distance between images

Postby aneuryzma on Tue Sep 08, 2009 7:21 am

hi,

could anyone explain me why the vertical distances between images (after clicking on them) is not correct in Firefox ?

please visit this page and click on the second image:

http://milcom.lu/kickstart/index.php...t&directory=61

then click again to resize it back and you'll see in Firefox the distance is not anymore correct as before. (In safari it perfectly works).

see attachment

thanks

Hi aneuryzma,
from the screens you uploaded your site is very creative!

I noticed this in the javascript thread....is your problem actually a Java issue or css/html issue?

First you need to fix the link or your server, I get a forbiden error on IE and firefox. I'll give you my opinion why you are having troubles but without seeing the issue live just take it with a grain of salt. :)

How did you dev the site? Can you give more info? What version of firefox are you using? Have you tried any of the dev tools in firefox? I've never used safari (i'm 32 years old and I'm a PC)

The problem is likely with standards, a new version of firefox will probably fix the problem. If not, you've probably got some iffy code, did you write the java from scratch?

Oyvay...so many qustions!
Tim.

dunno exactly...
I solved assigning

top-margin:5px and bottom-margin:15px
instead of
top-margin:20px and bottom-margin:0px;

and magically the distance works...
I'm using mootools setStyle function to do it when the picture is clicked.
