[HELP] CS3 STOPED CHANGING FILENAMES TO MATCH EXTENSION

[HELP] CS3 STOPED CHANGING FILENAMES TO MATCH EXTENSION

Postby manchild on Fri Oct 02, 2009 3:51 pm

When i choose save as and select a filetype, the filename does not change, so i have to rename it everytime. i have uninstalled and reinstalled it and it still does this.
it used to automatically change with the extension.

how to make it automatic again?

any help is appreciated

the extention changes but the name doesn't? Why would the name change in the first place?

only thing that comes to mind is the save as copy box......do you have that checked?(although that is pretty much standard)

I had it unchecked but it doesn't fix it, but i have found that when viewed with adobe dialog instead of windows it changes like it should :D

but i like windows dialog a LOT better, guess i have to deal with that.

thank you for the suggestion tho.

if anyone finds how to fix this tell me
