Converting to Vector

Sorry for being a total Newbie when it comes to Illustrator. I was wondering if it was possible to convert this file to a vector art. When i try to increase the imgage size it gets very jaggety. So i was hoping that i can convert it into a vector but due to the shadow on the swoosh i cannot use live trace because it comes out looking funny. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I do not do Illustrator but will this help?
