help with webhosting??

Postby mjaf2007 on Thu Oct 30, 2008 3:27 pm

i have a couple questions, first question

i knwo the very basics of dreamweaver, web hosting, etc.
i already have my domain and everything, but my question is this, i just want to sell some stuff online, open a ecommerce store for part time, would it be better to go with someone like "prostores" or would it be better to host it myself, my only question about hosting it myself is how to use a shopping cart, i dont quite understand how to exactly turn hosting into an online store, and how to make it secure, any help will be greatly appreciated.

thanks

there's plenty of applications that you can install onto your site and they should manage most of the hopping cart and money handling. It's just a matter of filling in your information on your end

You can use plenty of applications available online but I will go for a professional and affordable solution like: Boss Cart.. Regarding the hosting I will advise you a professional UK Web hosting. Let me know if I can help you more.
