Sheesh!!!!!!!!!!

Grrrrrrrrrrr

Same problems...

i ctrl-alt-t or edit - transform-rotate

im not too sure on how to get outta the rotate selection

so what i do is hit move tool and am faced with

apply-cancel-dont apply

Then i apply

im not sure what he means by resize , i missed that step till now

what and how does he propose one do that ?

Yes i use move tool

heres a tidbit

when i rotate i see temple double underneath , but when i cancel out of

rotate its not doubled , as i was typing i just tried again and it didnt

double

OK heres 3 screens

note in both how temple 2 is between paper and temple 1

notice how temple 2 is doubled after i transform-rotate

and its in B n W

even when i bring that layer to front its still between paper

and temple 1 , but in colour

Cheers

Hi m8

Heres wot i got so far

Up to step 3 complete

Does this look right ?

When applying layer mask-reveal all the brush colour going on was

white tho i had black chosen , it was black in a test on another pic tho

To solve the rotate/doubling and in between layers problem

n step 3

to paste temple behind temple 1 as shown in tutorial i move pallette selection to layer 1 just under temple 1 and above curves 1

So this is what i have thus far

Cheers

hi,
ok it looks like your getting the idea.. although the sequence of the layers is
different..like they seem reverse but i'll look at that again tomorrow......

as far as how dark your temples are.... ok you may need to readjust the curves
that should lighten them or adjust the black and white layer.....

hi,
again, first again.. on the lightness/brightness compared to the authur..
keep in mind that those exact values he has you put applies to his monitor
.. your monitor may tend to look darker or brighter hence you mayneed
to use different values for your curves and black and white layers!!

ok.. i have inserted a capture of what my pallet and picture looks like
the only major difference is that i don't have a black and white layer..
because my cs cs1 doesn't have that... but everyting else will familiar...
note: in place of the black and white layer... what i did was to do some desaturation
to give me the results I needed...
