why my photoshop is not anymore cropping correctly ?

Hi,

I don't understand why since few days ago, my photoshop is not only cropping the selected area, but the 3 pixels thick border around the selection as well.

You can see in the attached picture what I mean. Part of the image, outside the selection dashed line is conserved by cropping.

From your attached image, it looks like you're probably making the selection with the Rectangular Marquee tool and then choosing "crop" from the Image menu. I often crop that same way, but you must make sure that "Feather" is set to zero, in the options bar, or you will get the effect you show in your attachment.
