hey all!
Im trying to make a homepage where I can make my blog, but I dont have a clue how to do this. Most of my page is made in css and html so Im trying to keep it simple for my selve (the onely 2 things in web I understand). Any ideas for how to make it in css or in html, or do Ihave to put in some php/sql or something?

ok iv got my answer for that now (I cant do it with out php). but now i wonder if html can get text from another file like a word doc or txt file?

No html cant get text from anywhere, html is text its the code used to make webpages its the code the browser reads. you can use any text editor program to manually write your html code when you save it you save the name as index.html if its the home page and any attached page will be pagename.html and that makes it a html document not just a text file

if you cant write code then get a program like dreamweaver wich has a drag and drop type interface so you can build the site visually and the program writes the code.

you cannot make a blog just from html and css.

try downloading some free blog engine and install in your sytsem and develop it.

You could make a blog out of HTML, but when you want to have a new blogpost you would need to update it.. and for that loading a txt file on same page you could try iframe? could work.. but to make a blog your better off using something like WordPress.
