So.. now what :D

So.. now what :D

Postby Stannoman on Fri Oct 16, 2009 7:45 pm

Hello, I started using illustrator a few days ago, and started working on some project, I used a drawing on paper as reference and build my logo thing off that with the Pen tool. I really enjoyed how easy it is to make stuff like this with Illustrator, but to get to the point, what do I do now?

I have made the shape in Illustrator and grouped the letters together, but what do I need to do to import this in Photoshop? I guess I want to import the actual lines, the stroke of the shapes. But I'm quite noobie and Im not sure how I get this into PS the right way. I tried Save As and some file format, but it ended up in becoming a regular image. Can anyone help me with this? A tutorial about using illustrator and PS together would be nice too I think. But I haven't come across something like this yet.

Thanks for taking the time to read this post :3

Hey wow not posted here in a while =D

On the toolbar of both illustrator and photoshop (if your on windows, not sure about mac) at the bottom is a button witch lets you switch between i belive. photoshop / illustrator / image ready. Just click photoshop it should load you up into it with the image already there if i remember correctly.
