Help Removing a Building!!

Postby hawxi1882 on Wed Nov 11, 2009 12:19 pm

Hi There

New to this forum..but, I have been an avid 'player' on photoshop for a little time now..but, I am still definately in the 'amateur ' catergory.

Is anyone able to offer the best way of removing the building top right from my picture. I have tried to use the clone tool to replace with the blue sky, but, because of the graduated colour of the sky, it just does not look right..

Any help would really be appreciated..or, if anyone could do this and advise how done, I can then look and give it a go..

Thanks in advance

G

I just used the smudge tool at full strength pushed it over to the right and then selected the sky and added an overlay to it

hi,
i love experimenting..... what i did,,,
1. made a fill layer and filled it it with the oneof the colors in the sky...... and then did a gradiant at low opacity and a blur .... the blur to get rid of striations..
2. then made duplicate of the background layer... and selected the sky and building and deleted!!! magic wand worked pretty good on this.. not perfect but not bad..
and that was it....
