No PNG option in Save As list

I'm using photoshop CS3.

When I create a new file, I use the suggested RGB color settings, 8bit image.
Image mode is RGB colour.

Using these Colour Settings:


I can't see why it's not letting me save anything as PNG...

Tried flattening the image...
Tried restarting the application...
Havn't tried re-installing, will do that if no one here knows how to fix.

Also, the 'Save for Web & Devices' is grayed out.

Even Grayscale, CMYK and Lab Colour don't work.
Anyone know a fix?

Please help if you do, I can't work without my Portable Network Graphics!

Hi Dan,

You might try re-creating Photoshop's preferences to see it that fixes the problem. To re-create the preferences, start the application while holding down Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS X). Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings file?" After re-creating the preferences, the only preferences you may need to reset are those found under Edit>Preferences (Photoshop>Preferences for Mac). You shouldn't lose your color settings or custom work space.
