The first thing we are going to do is to make sure we got two likly images of theese to. So we're going to take Image 2, and cut out an area around the face, like Image 1. Open Image 2 in photoshop, click on the 'Rectangual Marquee Tool' top-left in the menu to the left.
Click on the image and draw a rectangular around the face. Now press CTRL+C to copy the area. Open Image 1 and paste the image there.
This is how it should look when you have selected the area around the face:
This is how it should look then you have pasted Image 2 into Image 1.
To make Image 2 as large as Image 1, press CTRL+T (transform), click and drag in the corners to make the new image of Britney as big as the old one. When you're done, doubleclick in the transform-box to accept the changes.
Your image should now look something like this:
To make the animation, we will now export the image from Photoshop to ImageReady. There's a button for that in the bottom in the menu.
In ImageReady, you should have an 'animation' window in the bottom of the screen, if you cen't find it, click on Window > Animation.
In the down-right corner of the screen you should have two layers. Click on the little image to the left of the top-layer to hide it.
We should now make a new 'frame' in the animation, click on the 'Duplicates Currten Frame' button in the Animation-window. Look at the image below:
Now unhide the top-layer again.
Now we should do the fade-effect. Press the 'Tween' button in the animation-window. It's located to the left of the new frame button. Enter an amount of how many frames it should take to make the fade, I choosed 20.
Click below the first frame where is sais '0 sec.'. Click on 2 secs. and do the same thing with the last frame.
You are now done, to save it click on File >Save Optimized As, and choose the location of where you want to save the image.
