Hi Ct

Thank you for liking my work, it means a lot to me.

This work has nearly all been created, using Autodesk's Max3D, it is a very powerful tool. Please feel free to ask me more.

All the best, Tiff

really impressed with this image which you have created and going to use it as your signature. I want to know the steps for creating that image as I require more pactice. Can you give me the complete tutorial or that file to learn?
Thanks

Thank you, for liking my insect.

I am sorry to say that, due to my work commitments, that I will not have time to create a tutorial for this, at the moment.

The inspiration to create this, came from a book that my partner bought me from a charity shop. (Creative Computer Graphics). This book is quite old, in computer years, produced in 1984. It's quite interesting, for historical purposes.

The original Mechanical Ant, was created at the New York Institute of Technology Computer Graphics Lab.

As you can probably imagine, I do not give my models away free, as I can not be sure that they will not be used commercially, sorry.

However there is a tutorial on creating a mechanical spider, at CGArena.

If you are very new to Autodesk 3D Studio Max, you should try this site.

I apologise again, that I can not help you any further, though if you post your work on this site, or send me a Private Mail. I will certainly try to find the time, to give you some advice.

Regards, Tiff

Also try these. http://www.devppl.com/tutorials/3d-stud ... ls/basics/
