[WIP] Company site design

Postby ReFredzRate on Tue Jun 28, 2005 7:06 am

As you might understand, this is a Work In Progress. I've been working on this for not too long now, but it will turn out to be a company website design. Now just hope a company wants to buy it from me when it's finished ;)
Anyway, I've started out using just monochromatic colors, meaning black and white, to make it easily viewable. As long as I understand what's where, I'm satisfied. You can't see it yet, but the three black, dark and light grey bars on the left, those are going to be 4 navigation buttons. I might add more of those buttons, if I need to.

As you can see, it's a bit vague at the moment. Colors will be added when the laying out is done a bit, but for now I will go on building the layout with some more black and whites.

Any questions?

Alright, so I trashed the entire site design, instead of the navigation buttons. I thought I might just start on that part, see what I can build around that.

Worked a lot better now. Here's the update:

Please note that I am not entirely sure about the pink/purplish color. It might be replaced by orange.

Please note that the pink will not be spread over the entire page like it is now. The reason I chose the pink, was that it matches the pink/purplish color in one of the buttons. A large white textbox will be placed over the pinkish area as well, rubbing out a lot of pink.

Would orange be better?

I think it would be best deciding what color you want after you are done with the concrete layout.

Buttons okay. But not the blue header. Quite much blue in the top part. I think the buttons should have a unique color. By that I mean a color no where else on the page. Just a suggestion... ;)

Colorful is the new webpage trend.

Have you ever seen a page which is blue with a metal-border as menu.. That kind of site is now out, and theese colorful site will be the next generation. So keep working on this Fredz, this is the future. :)
