OK, I have a pretty complicated situation and I need help, so please bear with me.
I do graphics for DVDs of racing at a local speedway. Before every race, we create a graphic that shows where each of the cars will line up to start each race. Each car has a group of three layer, name, number and a small background piece behind each number. Currently, our graphics designer has to go in to the PSD file and manually update the file with the name of the driver, their number, and the colors of their car. Normally they do this for an average of 10 cars per race, with anywhere from 24-30 races a night. This can get very time consuming.
What we'd like to do is have some kind of script or data set that we can use to update the names, numbers, and colors. I've looked into using variables in Photoshop, but it doesn't look like I can change the colors, only the text. Any ideas?
