Hi ruthielmoore,

The d3dx9_30.dll file is the Dynamic Link Library file for DirectX 9; display technology to allow PCs to have higher quality and better performance graphics and sound.
This file allows your computer to render graphics in 3D in applications where speed and performance is important; like games, graphics editing programs.
If you're having an issue with your d3dx9_30.dll file, the exact message displayed will vary depending on the application that is attempting to access it.
Here are a few examples of messages you might receive:

"The dynamic link library d3dx9_30.dll could not be found in the specified path"
"Missing component d3dx9_30.dll"
"This application has failed to start because d3dx9_30.dll was not found"
"d3dx9_30.dll is not loaded"

Unfortunately, this file isn't included with Windows Vista installs so it won't be found on one of your backup/restore disks. To quickly fix file relationship errors,
it's recommended that you use an automatic repair tool like FileCure. Installing FileCure, running its 100% accurate file type scan, and fixing the file types that are
currently causing errors will only take you 2 minutes. (Download FileCure here) http://d3drm.paretologic.revenuewire.ne ... e/download

Hi ruth,

d3dx9_30.dll
This is because you are missing a file.
Step 1. You can download http://www.d3dx9.net/?s=d3dx9_30.dll&submit=submit here.
Step 2. Paste this file into your system32 and system folder. Also put it in your syswow
Step 3. Navigate to your System32(32Bit OS) or SyWOW64(64Bit OS) Folder.
Note: The location of System32 or SyWOW64 is
C:Windows\System32 (If you are using 32Bit Windows)
C:\Windows\SysWOW64 (if you are using 64Bit Windows)
Step 4.Paste the d3dx9_30.dll into this folder.
Step 5.Run the game. It might work now.
