Raster in different browsers?

Raster in different browsers?

Postby kdjuiopo on Sat Jul 02, 2011 1:44 am

I am writing a new website and have got something I like viewed by the Google Chrome browser 12.x.xxx.xx I'm usng a webfont, which is wonderful, however when I turn to look at the site in IE9, and Firefox 4.xxxx, the whole page is as if it is zoomed in. When I do a cntrl-minus, it looks about right in both browsers.

Is this generally symptomatic of something? I don't have a doctype, because I couldn't decide what was best. I can fix minor issues between browsers, but the whole page looks stupid except in Google Chrome. Thanks

You will at least need a doc-type. This works for me:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

And next time post a link or sample code if you want more help
