Landscape and yeti pics

These are my first 2 good-ish photoshop pics, any tips and help would be much appreciated

the landscape-

took me ages, about 10 hours

First i drew a pencil scetch of the pic and then painted over it in photoshop.

im happy with this cus i learnt how to use the pen tool just before i started

Hehe... true! I have a much longer way to go compared to you. I started Photoshop 2 weeks back

By the way, you can't make pics like those with the mouse? Can you?
