Signature Comp

Who thinks we should run a signature competition also a work in progress section for photoshop. anyway we could run like a monthly competition with size limits etc and base it on different themes and u hav say a week to produce teh final product and u hav to post ur progress to check no one is cheatin etc? wot u guys thing?

well i obivously think its a gd idea as i put it forward and i would be willin to help you guys arrange it sort it out etc if u need any help or u might not even like the idea

I think it is a fun idea, this could be a way to learn some new skills at photoshop. The winner could always explain to me how they made their piece of work

lol well that one took me a VERY VERY VERY long time it was a very traumatic event, i could try and find the almost finished ones half way through etc which show u how i did it as i dont think i cba to write it all out lol. sorry

I believe a couple of people expressed their interest

Anyway i think it's a good idea for the graphics gurus to get involved

Unfortunately, i'm not much on graphics so i won't go in it

Maybe when i get better .. wow i used a lot of smileys :roll:

what do you think of my sig ? this is the first "real" thing in photoshop ive made next to some water tutorial,, any tips or suggestions ?

It is a fun thing to do, but actually, I hate sig-pics because the forum takes more time to load.

For example, a thread with 25 posts that 25 different people have posted, all people are using sig-pics. ItcHy's sig-pic is 74.81 KB if all the users where using a sig-pic like that, the page would be atleast 1.8 MB, and that is definetely too much. That's why I don't like sig-pics and I will probably disable the function to use pics in the signature.

Another competition that we could have is to make just a picture about something, for example the coolest 125x125 picture, what do you think about that?

well it doesnt just hav to be sigs and i will remoive mine if u wish can just be landscape or abstract i durno was just an idea
