Acclaim files for bankruptcy

Acclaim, one of the oldest game producers in the industry, filed for a bankruptcy last Thursday. They have had a lack of good titles in the market for a long time. Their latest games like “Turok: Evolutionâ€

Not entirely correct... Their latest game was Juiced, kind of a Need for Speed Underground clone. This one was bought by another software company...

Maybe I got that wrong. But they still filed for bankrupcy :lol:.

I really loved their Mortal Kombat games on Sega Mega Drive. Used to play that alot when i was ten.

It's a shame I kind of liked acclaim, hey...that rymes, but it's true their last number of titles where just not up to it. I hope they're not sucked up by some mindless production factory like EA or ubisoft

...oh wait they already tried that themselves...oh well, it's not that bad you get to wear a cool laser where your right eye used to be...
