Price for 30 Day Trial??

Hi, I am new about the whole Photoshop idea, and my friend gave me a link to download the 30 day Tryout for Adobe Photoshop 7 for free. I'm not sure if it was free in the first place, or if it cost anything to use it. I also wonder if I could possibly be billed after this trial is over, or if it will just not be able to use.

Please help me with these questions and thank you very much!
