Problem with Ps CS4.

I've recently installed CS4 on my 32bit MS Vista laptop.

I can use all other CS4 appz without worry, with the exception of Photoshop CS4.

I've posted a screen grab of my issue.
If anyone can help, or has advice, it would be very much appreciated.





This only happens at 100% zoom or less, if zoomed at 200% or greater, there is absolutely no issues.

I've checked the noise, and its not that because there's nothing on the layer.

it just looks like your monitor is having troubles correctly resizing the pixels when zoomed out... try setting your graphics card to optimize for performance, not quality

Sorry phate,

I've optimized my setting for performance as advised. Although this is done, im not sure if it's working because now, instead of getting the standard checkered layer, its coming back with a fully black screen, both the layer and outside.
