PSCS2 Flash Web Gallery output customisation

PSCS2 Flash Web Gallery output customisation

Postby kevvyb on Sat May 27, 2006 12:58 am

Having produced a flash web photo gallery I have uploaded it to my site. I have linked my home page to the gallery index page BUT now I need to add a link to the flash output (html page?) back to my homepage.

Is this possible? If so could anyone give me some pointers. Everything I have tried is not really working. Have managed to get a link in and it will work but is at top of page with no background or text formatting.

You could change one of the options in the actuall flash. Change something like "Copyright" to your website

I can change /add to the text file scripts and the html script that are produced by the CS2 flash output but not the flash object itself for which I presumably need a copy of Macromedia flash. If that's what does it then I am stuck without a copy of that program which is quite expensive.

No. When you are in CS2, and about to publish the site, change one of the options there

I don't think this works. Inserts a link into the flash but this link does not function correctly. I think there is a need to change the flash object as well.

you would need to point directly. For example, you couldnt link to "index.php" it would have to be "http://yoursite.com/index.php"

Only works in email as a link then opens an email of course! The other options are not coded as hyperlinks

Thank you. Would rather use the CS2 flash gallery if I can 'cos it looks better than my hand coded efforts with another flash creator, although that doesn't look bad.
