Question about using brushes (not some newbie question)

Postby robert5000 on Wed May 16, 2007 6:54 pm

Hi,
I am trying to figure out the option or keyboard shortcut that automatically makes a new brush drawing on the canvas ONLY AFTER it is away from the last drawing that was just made.
I know if you hold down shift, it will make it like the 2nd example, but that is not what I want.
I hope my explanation made sense, sorry if my explanation did not make too much sense!

Thanks In Advanced!!!!
Robert
p.s. if there is a keyboard shortcut somewhere for this, that would be great!

Select your brush.

In the top right-hand corner of the menu bar at the top, you'll see 3 tabs. Click the one called 'brushes'.

In the dialog box that comes up, highlight the text "Brush Tip Shape"

A new dialog box appears. near the bottom is a check box marked "Spacing". Check this box.

This causes a Spacing slider bar to appear. The farther you slide the control to the right, the farther apart your brush strokes get. There is a brush preview at the bottom that should give you a decent idea where to set the slider.

Hope this helps.
