Questions from a FTP user

I have a FTP account with 2freegigs and half the things on the list I don't know what they are so can someone explain to me because I am dumb what they are

I get that, best way to find out is honestly spend an evening on, i still dont know half of it, but just spend some time going through it.

Whats funny is that the control panel is there to make it easier to do things, like create a database or something.

i prefer to go to the ftp login, seeing those folders is a lot more relaxing than looking at the hostings control panel.

That was with 2freegigs.com but it's closing down now. Whats this KT hosting like?
