quick mask problem

Postby ninjaboy on Mon Jul 16, 2007 10:45 am

Hi i am using cs2 and having a prob when using quick mask mode.
Say going to whiten teeth i select quick mask mode then brush over teeth as required then when i switch back to edit in normal mode the teeth are not selected but the line is around the edge of the whole photo.
I did exactly the same on my dads photoshop and it works fine so either something broken or something selected wrong.

Hi Shane,

To access the Quick Mask options, double-click the Quick Mask icon. In the "color indicates" box, click on "selected areas".

This should clear things up for you.

You can try clearing the prefs file. CTRL+ALT+SHIFT at the PS splash screen.
