When i save a .raw file with one channel, photoshop adds random colors, nothing major, it´s one or two shades up or down, but it´s enough when making heightmaps, i can´t get rid of these extra colors, and it´s really pissing me off. any suggestions?
i believe it´s some sorta annoying "optimization" i should be able to annihilate.

Well, found out myself how to correct it.
photoshop CANNOT save a raw file as intended, however, i switched to the trial version of paint shop pro, and it does not have the problem, other applications like GIMP had the error too, thou i believe this can be turned off somewhere in settings, supposedly. some kind of enhancing feature when saving or the likes. Bad photoshop, bad!
