Reformatting about 800 photos

Postby pbrittadactyl on Tue Jul 10, 2007 9:34 pm

Hey,

I know this might be an obvious question, but I need to change about 800 photos and I don't want to do it manually. I am just changing them to lower quality by saving them to the web, with jpeg quality of about 60. Is there a way to do all of the photos together so I don't have to do each manually?

Thank you so much

Maybe there are other programs that can do that but in photoshop the easiest way is to create an action and assign a key (ex. F2).

Explore the file>automate menu. Pretty sure something in here will be able to assist you.

It's very easy, just go to file>automate>image processor. Don't run any options, just save as jpg, quality 6. Save in same location and it will create a new folder titled jpeg.
